Samah Hijawi will show her work at Mahalla Festival, Istambul and the Asian Art Biennial, Taiwan, 2017. She will be an artist in residence with Moussem a nomadic art project in Belgium that presents artists who are connected to the Arab world. Together with them and MuCEM in Marseilles, she will develop her new project, that is exploring the relationship between the French, Belgian and Palestinian identities.

IL QUARTO GIORNO DI SCUOLA (The Forth Day of School), a film by Martina Melilli, was screened at the Rotterdam Film Festival 2016.
The film won the Premio Quotidiana at Quotidiana16, Padova, the Award Andrea Pazienza for the creative use of graphic design and images and was selected for the 23 Premio Libero Bizzarri, San Benedetto del Tronto, ItaliaCortoDoc Competition. It was presented in the official selection of TIFF - Tirana International Film Festival as well as at the Lago Film Fest XII, for the Faito Doc Festival and for the Milano Film Festival, Shorts Competition

Eleni Kamma participates in Breaking Crisis, the film program of Transmediale Berlin 2016. She takes part in 'Indiscipline' : Brussels, the multifaceted and interdisciplinary capital, comes to Palais de Tokyo. In 2015 she has been invited by Netwerk Aalst to unfold her latest film project, Yar bana bir eglence, (Oh, for some Amusement!) into an individual exhibition.
2016 Effi Weiss and Amir Borenstein are a.o. in residency at The Tower Resicency, Cushendall, N.Ireland, have a solo exhibition at Espace Libre, Biel-Bienne, Switzerland and do a residency and community project at The Israeli Centre for Digital Art, The Jessy Cohen Museum, Holon
In 2017 HOUSEWARMING by Effi Weiss & Amir Borenstein (SIC 2014) is selected to the international competition section of the ARKIPEL Jakarta International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival.
For oralsite.be Effi & Amir created a digital publication on the project. HOUSEWARMING is also programmed to feature on the online curated platform Saison Video (in October 2017)

In 2015 Julie Pfleiderer directed the trailer for the performance “A Possibility of an Abstraction” for visual artist Germaine Kruip and created 6 films for the festival “Performatik” at Kaaitheater Brussels. She also directed the new performance “Jetzt aber später” with actress Angelika Krautzberger in collaboration with the band Colorist.

Miki Ambrozy was the winner of filmlab wildcard - VAF Wildcardcompetition 2013 with his film Fabric of Time. At the moment he is working on his next film "Rites of Resistance".
Caroline Daish won best actress for feature films in the Melbourne Underground Film Festival for her performance in “The Dead Speak Back” (Triptych Films) in 2014. She also collaborates with Belgium artists, such as Myriam Van Imschoot, Mette Edvardsen and in the lastest film from the visual artist duo, Charles & Sarah in “A day will come my future will be your past”.
January / February 2016 she is in residency at Buda Kortrijk.
With her brother Stewart Daish she is one of four artists selected as participants of WORD! 2016: They will screen their documentary “Gormless Wonderland” in public space in the City of Adelaide.

Joshua Rickard is Visiting Research Fellow at the Middle East Institute at the National University of Singapore. He holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Kent, Canterbury. His ongoing research critically examines the roles of foreign aid and international NGOs in Palestinian communities, and their relationships to external as well as local actors. His book Fragmentation of Palestine will be published in June 2016.

Angelo Vermeulen realises a multidisciplinary oeuvre that crosses over the boundaries of biology, technology and community. Vermeulen won the Witteveen+Bos Art+Technology Award in 2012. He is crew commander of HI-SEAS, a Mars simulation study on improving the nutritional value of space food, funded by NASA and travels the world to share information about his art and scientific projects as a TED Senior Fellow. 2011-2015 he did a PhD in space habitat design and participatory systems engineering at Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands).

Annemie Maes is the visual artist behind the Brussels Urban Bee Lab. Her research practice combines art and science with a strong interest for DIY technologies. Affiliated to the artist collectives Okno and So-on, she has managed several international art projects granted by EU Culture and collaborates on regular basis with science groups in Brussels, Paris, Barcelona and Tokyo. Currently she is on working residency at WIKO Berlin.

Charlotte Grégoire continues to make documentary films. Her film BUREAU DE CHOMAGE (Employment Office) in collaboration with Anne Schiltz was nominated for the Best Documentary at the Magritte du Cinéma 2016. Again with Anne Schiltz she is now developping a new documentary : ANDREI.
Charles Fairbanks is a wrestler, filmmaker, and assistant professor of media arts at Antioch College, US.
2010 Werner Herzog selected him for the first Rogue Film School, in 2012 he was awarded Guggenheim Fellow. His new work is emerging through collaboration with an indigenous Zoque community in rural Chiapas.
