Synopsis<\/h2>

Lorsque j’avais 13 ans, ma m\u00e8re a demand\u00e9 le divorce et mon p\u00e8re a quitt\u00e9 notre maison. Trois ans plus tard, il est retourn\u00e9 au Liberia pour retrouver sa famille, laissant ses affaires derri\u00e8re lui. Quinze ann\u00e9es se sont \u00e9coul\u00e9es depuis, et ces objets sont toujours pr\u00e9sents dans notre maison.<\/p>\n

Je les revisite aujourd’hui pour plonger dans les r\u00eaves bris\u00e9s de mon p\u00e8re, un Noir anglophone arriv\u00e9 en Belgique dans les ann\u00e9es 80. En cherchant \u00e0 me r\u00e9concilier avec mon pass\u00e9, je filme pour comprendre comment sa qu\u00eate de l’excellence noire a \u00e0 la fois fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 et fractur\u00e9 mon identit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Biographie<\/h2>

Muna Traub est dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e en journalisme en 2018 \u00e0 l’IHECS. Passionn\u00e9e par le documentaire, elle cor\u00e9alise \u00ab\u00a0Tu seras un homme ma fille\u00a0\u00bb son premier film en R\u00e9publique dominicaine qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 diffus\u00e9 sur des cha\u00eenes de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision telles que la RTBF et BX1. Autodidacte, elle se lance parall\u00e8lement dans la production de fictions avec le long m\u00e9trage \u00ab\u00a0Le Voyage de Talia\u00a0\u00bb. En mai 2023, le film sort dans les salles belges et est \u00e9galement s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 pour plusieurs festivals internationaux, dont le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Palm Springs Festival.<\/p>\n

Actuellement, Muna Traub coproduit le court m\u00e9trage \u00ab\u00a0Backstage\u00a0\u00bb, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 et coproduit par In\u00e8s Eshun. En outre, Muna Traub \u00e9crit pour le magazine d’investigation \u00ab\u00a0M\u00e9dor\u00a0\u00bb. Enfin, elle pr\u00e9pare actuellement son deuxi\u00e8me projet de film documentaire intitul\u00e9 \u00a0\u00bb Work Like a Slave to Live Like a Queen<\/span>\u00ab\u00a0.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n
