Synopsis<\/h2>

D\u00e9sorient\u00e9e par le refus de sa r\u00e9sidence par l’\u00c9tat belge, une jeune cin\u00e9aste \u00e9gyptienne se perd sur une colline des Ardennes apr\u00e8s deux semaines de marche. Deux ans plus tard, elle entreprend un voyage transformateur dans son atelier, reconstituant les traces physiques et mentales d’un incident qui l’a profond\u00e9ment \u00e9branl\u00e9e. En revoyant des images du voyage, en scannant des parties de son corps et en personnifiant des figures de pouvoir qui ont jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le central dans son exp\u00e9rience – son p\u00e8re, un agent d’immigration et le policier qui l’a secourue -, elle aborde les th\u00e8mes de la violence d’\u00c9tat, de l’autoritarisme et de l’ali\u00e9nation. En fin de compte, le film se transforme en un dialogue entre elle et ces figures, et lui permet de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la question : \u00ab Comment me suis-je perdue ? \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n

Biographie<\/h2>

Marina Kalleny est \u00c9gyptienne, n\u00e9e et \u00e9lev\u00e9e au Caire. Elle se consid\u00e8re plus comme une photographe que comme une cin\u00e9aste. Elle travaille autour du th\u00e8me de la transformation. En combinant un style hybride, elle questionne et expose ce qu’est un film. Malgr\u00e9 ses \u00e9tudes de th\u00e9\u00e2tre et d’art dramatique \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 d’Ain Shams, la passion pr\u00e9coce de Marina pour la photographie l’a inspir\u00e9e \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser son premier court m\u00e9trage \u00e0 l’\u00e2ge de 21 ans. \u00ab Etnen w Eshreen \u00bb (Vingt-deux) est un film sur le passage \u00e0 l’\u00e2ge adulte et la croissance. Le film a \u00e9t\u00e9 projet\u00e9 dans diff\u00e9rents festivals nationaux et a remport\u00e9 3 prix. Plus tard, elle a lanc\u00e9 un projet de cin\u00e9ma\/photographie \u00ab H\u00e9liopolis \u00bb pour lequel elle a re\u00e7u le fonds de soutien de l’AFAC pour l’ann\u00e9e 2020. En 2023, Marina a obtenu un master international en r\u00e9alisation de films documentaires du master conjoint Docnomads Erasmus Mundus qui a pris lieu au Portugal, en Hongrie et en Belgique.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
