Lorsque des chauffeurs ind\u00e9pendants ont saisi l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 initialement propos\u00e9e par l\u2019entreprise internationale Uber, les promesses d\u2019autonomie et de revenus \u00e9lev\u00e9s semblaient irr\u00e9sistibles. Mais l\u2019\u00e9volution des proc\u00e9dures de la plateforme a rapidement laiss\u00e9 nombre d\u2019entre eux d\u00e9sabus\u00e9s et en difficult\u00e9. Ce documentaire audacieux explore la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 v\u00e9cue par les chauffeurs Uber aux Pays-Bas.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous sommes attaqu\u00e9s de deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s, par l\u2019entreprise et par le client ! \u00bb Cette exclamation d\u2019un chauffeur \u00e0 Amsterdam r\u00e9sume la situation critique de la profession. Dans ce documentaire-essai saisissant, Lisette Olsthoorn dresse un \u00e9tat des lieux pr\u00e9cis des difficult\u00e9s rencontr\u00e9es par des chauffeurs confront\u00e9s aux pratiques d\u2019une multinationale aux logiques souvent exploitantes. Ce qui avait commenc\u00e9 comme la promesse de \u00ab profits sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent \u00bb pour des travailleurs ind\u00e9pendants s\u2019est peu \u00e0 peu transform\u00e9 en cauchemar, entre dysfonctionnements de l\u2019application et variations constantes, dict\u00e9es par le march\u00e9, des tarifs et des revenus. \u00c0 travers des images d\u2019archives de manifestations avort\u00e9es et de d\u00e9bats t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9s st\u00e9riles, le film d\u00e9passe le simple constat. Il devient aussi un espace d\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation, m\u00ealant reconstitutions et \u00e9changes ouverts entre la cin\u00e9aste, les chauffeurs et des acteurs participants. Le film pose alors une question essentielle : est-il possible d\u2019imaginer, et de mettre en \u0153uvre, des relations de travail plus justes et plus humaines, ou la pr\u00e9carit\u00e9 capitaliste du XXI\u1d49 si\u00e8cle est-elle vou\u00e9e \u00e0 rester inchang\u00e9e ?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n
