Dans un entretien avec Mhanna Durra, un peintre bas\u00e9 en Jordanie, il a d\u00e9crit les effets des \u00e9v\u00e9nements politiques en Palestine sur la pratique de la peinture : \u00ab\u00a0Les gens peignaient une colombe, et la colombe ressemblait \u00e0 une grenouille… et ils l’appelaient ma patrie\u00a0\u00bb. Cette conf\u00e9rence-performance de Samah Hijawi prend la dualit\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9e dans l’effondrement de deux cr\u00e9atures, deux symboles – la colombe et la grenouille – comme point d’entr\u00e9e pour explorer la repr\u00e9sentation et les symboles dans l’art politiquement engag\u00e9. Cette pi\u00e8ce navigue \u00e0 travers les absurdit\u00e9s qui se trouvent entre l’utopie et la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, l’art et l’activisme, et la transformation de la cr\u00e9ation d’images en production de symboles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n
