Dans certains cas, la relation du film \u00e0 la langue permet de penser des techniques qui traversent l\u2019histoire et l\u2019actualit\u00e9 des formes cin\u00e9matographiques. Mais, contrairement au langage, le cin\u00e9ma ne peut \u00eatre d\u00e9compos\u00e9 en unit\u00e9s discr\u00e8tes \u2013 mots, lettres, etc. \u2013 ni transform\u00e9 en un syst\u00e8me linguistique coh\u00e9rent. Le cin\u00e9ma est li\u00e9 au r\u00e9el. Il absorbe et recontextualise un monde multisensoriel aux dimensions multiples et imbriqu\u00e9es : linguistiques, corporelles, technologiques, environnementales, infrastructurelles, toutes entrem\u00eal\u00e9es selon des logiques qui r\u00e9sistent aux classifications claires. Le rapport du cin\u00e9ma au langage n\u2019est donc pas seulement un probl\u00e8me th\u00e9orique ou technique ; il engage notre mani\u00e8re m\u00eame d\u2019aborder le cin\u00e9ma, ainsi que ses r\u00f4les sociaux, \u00e9cologiques et politiques.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1458\">On m\u2019a appris \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer le langage comme l\u2019innovation qui distingue le plus clairement l\u2019\u00eatre humain de son environnement. \u00c0 rebours de cette id\u00e9e r\u00e9pandue, le livre d\u00e9sormais classique de David Abram, <em data-start=\"1212\" data-end=\"1239\">The Spell of the Sensuous<\/em>(1996), propose une vaste enqu\u00eate historique et philosophique sur les premiers syst\u00e8mes langagiers pour d\u00e9fendre la th\u00e8se inverse : le langage serait le moyen par lequel l\u2019environnement parle \u00e0 travers le corps humain.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1460\" data-end=\"2218\">Ce Focus explore la position d\u2019Abram comme un probl\u00e8me profond\u00e9ment cin\u00e9matographique. \u00c0 travers des \u0153uvres contemporaines et historiques, nous interrogeons le cin\u00e9ma comme mode d\u2019expression de l\u2019environnement. Il ne s\u2019agit cependant pas d\u2019une vision id\u00e9alis\u00e9e de l\u2019incarnation ou du hasard. Le cin\u00e9ma est n\u00e9 comme la technologie embl\u00e9matique de la modernit\u00e9 industrielle, et n\u2019a cess\u00e9 depuis d\u2019\u00e9voluer sur le seuil instable entre le corps et son milieu. C\u2019est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment pour cette raison qu\u2019il est particuli\u00e8rement apte \u00e0 rendre sensible l\u2019exp\u00e9rience post-industrielle des lieux, o\u00f9 ruptures continues, dissociations, appropriations, d\u00e9doublements et mises en sc\u00e8ne du r\u00e9el participent ensemble \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner ce que nous appelons la
