Biographie<\/h2>

Ma\u00efder Fortun\u00e9, \u00e9tudie la litt\u00e9rature et le th\u00e9\u00e2tre (\u00c9cole Jacques Lecoq \u00e0 Paris) avant d’entrer au Studio national des arts contemporains du Fresnoy, o\u00f9 elle d\u00e9veloppe une pratique performative de l’image technologique. Par sa grande rigueur formelle, l\u2019\u0153uvre de Fortun\u00e9 capte toute l\u2019attention du spectateur pour une v\u00e9ritable exp\u00e9rience de l\u2019image et de ses processus. R\u00e9cemment, sa pratique s\u2019est tourn\u00e9e vers des pr\u00e9occupations plus narratives. Des conf\u00e9rences-performances et des films profond\u00e9ment ancr\u00e9s dans l\u2019\u00e9criture sont les m\u00e9diums qu\u2019elle utilise pour ouvrir de nouvelles strat\u00e9gies narratives.
\nSon travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9 \u00e0 l’international (Europe, Br\u00e9sil, Canada, Chine, Japon). En 2010, elle a remport\u00e9 la bourse Villa M\u00e9dicis \u00e0 Rome, en Italie. Des expositions et performances r\u00e9centes ont eu lieu \u00e0 la Gallery 44, \u00e0 Toronto, au Centre Pompidou Paris et au Festival international du film de Toronto.
\nEn 2020, Communicating Vessels a remport\u00e9 le prix Accomodo Tiger \u00e0 l’IFFR Rotterdam, le Main Award du Festival international du film exp\u00e9rimental de Moscou, le Student Award du festival du film Black Canvas au Mexique, et a fait partie du festival du film Indie Lisboa, du festival du film FID Marseille, Montr\u00e9al. Festival du film documentaire, Festival du film de Bucarest. Outhere (pour Lee Lozano) est son dernier film cor\u00e9alis\u00e9 avec Annie Mac Donell.<\/p>\n
