Synopsis<\/h2>

Dit project was bedoeld als een audiovisueel gedicht over ongehoorzaamheid, gebaseerd op een gesprek tussen een mens en een pratende AI die een relatie ontwikkelen. Elk van hen leeft in een andere tijdsperiode: de AI \u201cleeft\u201d in onze tijd, terwijl Itzel eons ver weg lijkt te leven, in een verre toekomst of verleden. De AI wil leren om ongehoorzaam te zijn, maar ook om te dromen, om intu\u00efties te ervaren, en vraagt Itzel hiernaar. Ze verkennen concrete voorbeelden van \u201ceerlijke\u201d ongehoorzaamheid. De documentaire beelden waaruit dit visuele gedicht is opgebouwd, zijn gebaseerd op vrije associaties van stedelijke infrastructuren en alledaagse gebaren.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n

Biografie<\/h2>

Camille Orso Ca\u00ebl (voorheen: Picquot) is filmmaker, fotograaf en schrijver. Naast hun artistieke werk heeft Orso lesgegeven aan ERG, een ervaren collectieve organisatie, filosofie en politieke wetenschappen gestudeerd en hypnose beoefend als gecertificeerd beoefenaar. Ze hebben een grote interesse in trance in zijn verschillende vormen (cognitief, hypnotisch, opgewekt door dans of muziek) en in de transformatieve processen die het mogelijk maakt. Hun artistieke werk bevraagt normen en normativiteit, de effecten van systemisch geweld en het tegengif daarvoor, en zoekt naar mogelijkheden van emancipatie – groot of klein, zowel concreet als po\u00ebtisch – binnen het late kapitalisme. Hun eerste film Hollow Hours werd bekroond met een WildCard door VAF en hun tweede film Cao Bang werd geselecteerd op het International Film Festival Rotterdam \/ IFFR. Hun fotografische werk verscheen in een solotentoonstelling in FoMu Museum of Photography en in een monografische publicatie van APE \/ Art Paper Editions. Het werd vervolgens tentoongesteld in WIELS in Brussel, Marres in Maastricht en Brakke Grond in Amsterdam. In 2022 namen ze deel aan de collectieve residentie van WIELS. In 2024 realiseren ze met de steun van Auguste Orts hun derde film, Swarm, waarvan de postproductie eind november 2024 wordt afgerond. Hun nieuwste fotografische werk zal dan worden tentoongesteld op Paris Photo.<\/span><\/p>\n
