Synopsis<\/h2>

Het is een film over steen en steenbouw, een bedreigde kunst. Over mensen die de stenen kunnen horen spreken. Tegelijkertijd gaat de film over gemeenschap en samenwerking, als een gedeelde uitdaging en een feest. Bouwen met steen vereist veel mensen. Steen is te zwaar om alleen te gebruiken.<\/p>\n

Deze experimentele documentaire combineert speelse choreografie met persoonlijke po\u00ebtische observaties en richt zich op de herinneringslandschappen van de mensen die werken, leren en leven van de steenbouw in het hedendaagse Griekenland. Door middel van de afnemende traditie van steenbouw probeert de film een intergenerationele ruimte te cre\u00ebren voor een feministische reflectie op de verhalen van het bouwen in dorpen en steden. De zoektocht naar migrantenlijnen in de ‘bouloukia’-bouwcultuur en het in twijfel trekken van het stilzwijgen over vrouwelijke bouwers worden vragen die gedeeld worden door een opkomende gemeenschap die samenkomt om na te denken en samen te dromen door middel van een reeks merkwaardige correspondenties en meanderende reizen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n
