Julien Chapelle is actief in de wereld van film en audiovisuele kunsten. Hij heeft een achtergrond in programmatie, festivalco\u00f6rdinatie en cultureel projectbeheer. Sinds 2023 is hij co\u00f6rdinator van SoundImageCulture (SIC), een platform dat filmmakers ondersteunt bij de ontwikkeling van hun projecten. Daarnaast is hij oprichter en artistiek directeur van London Film Week. Zijn werk vertrekt vanuit een curatori\u00eble blik en een sterke interesse in hoe films zich bewegen tussen artistieke, academische en publieke omgevingen.<\/p>\n

Hij werkte samen met verschillende film- en culturele instellingen, waaronder het Raindance Film Festival (VK), Anima Festival, Flagey, Bozar Cinema en het Brussels Short Film Festival. Die ervaringen gaven hem een brede kijk op filmprogrammatie en distributie, zowel in Belgi\u00eb als internationaal. Sinds 2025 is Julien lid van de Commission du Cin\u00e9ma van de F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Wallonie-Bruxelles, waar hij meedenkt over de toekomst van de audiovisuele
