Nollywood Hustlers was a research project and collaboration between Sonia Hedstrand & Rut Karin Zettergren over the years 2012-2016, where we went to the biggest movie industry in the world, Nollywood, in Lagos, Nigeria, to learn how to make Nollywood movies from the professionals there. The project resulted in a collaboration with local actors Ugochukwu Nwaeze, Naomi Diamond, Jumoke Olayemi, Patience Yisa and Ahmed Yusuf. Together we shot a full feature length Nollywood film on location in Badore, Lagos during 5 days.

Nollywood Hustlers est un projet de recherche et de collaboration entre Sonia Hedstrand et Rut Karin Zettergren qui s’est déroulé entre 2012 et 2016. Nous nous sommes rendues dans la plus grande industrie cinématographique du monde, Nollywood, à Lagos, au Nigéria, pour apprendre à réaliser des films de Nollywood auprès des professionnels sur place. Le projet a débouché sur une collaboration avec les acteurs locaux Ugochukwu Nwaeze, Naomi Diamond, Jumoke Olayemi, Patience Yisa et Ahmed Yusuf.
Ensemble, nous avons tourné en 5 jours un long métrage de Nollywood à Badore, Lagos.
