Synopsis

Le film expérimental et performatif “A HOUSE PLACED IN BETWEEN – Poetry in the comfortable grey zone” s’interroge sur la notion ambiguë de territoire, de propriété et de foyer. Il est basé sur la recherche artistique de Takeuchi sur plusieurs récits et perspectives sur une ancienne ambassade occupée de la République démocratique du Congo située à La Haye, aux Pays-Bas, où elle a vécu et travaillé.

Synopsis

Experimental and performative film ‘A HOUSE PLACED IN BETWEEN – Poetry in the comfortable grey zone –’ questions on the ambiguous notion of territory, property and home. It is based on Takeuchi’s artistic research on several narratives and perspectives on an occupied old embassy of Democratic Republic of the Congo located in the Hague, Netherlands, where she lived and worked.
