Asma Laajimi (b. 1999, Tunisia) is a visual artist and filmmaker based in Brussels. Working across
film, photography, text, and installation, she develops poetic narratives where the intimate meets the
political. Translating lived experience into fictions that examine overlooked everyday political
realities, her practice engages with postcolonial perspectives, feminist thought, and urban imaginaries.

À travers des fragments de journal intime, le film suit la réaction de la réalisatrice alors qu’elle traverse une identité féminine complexe et cherche sa place.

Asma Laajimi (née en 1999 en Tunisie) est une artiste visuelle et cinéaste basée à Bruxelles. Travaillant entre le film, la photographie, le texte et l’installation, elle développe des récits poétiques où l’intime rencontre le politique. En transformant l’expérience vécue en fictions qui interrogent des réalités politiques du quotidien souvent invisibilisées, sa pratique mobilise des perspectives postcoloniales, des réflexions féministes et des imaginaires urbains.
