Synopsis
Stories define the way we experience life and are key to how we relate to each other and the world around us. This story starts in the winter of 2022, when I embarked on a 9 months long walking adventure with my then-partner which ended abruptly out of my control. The project explores the power of stories and the notion of reality based on this personal experience. Using footage made on the walk, I try to rewrite my own narrative, regaining control of my story and agency in the outdoors. For this I will shed light on ‘women in the wild’, on how they found their story and are writing it outdoors.
