A Bright Bright Night

A Bright Bright Night
by Martina Moor

Synopsis

In an unrecognisable city at night, a young taxi driver crosses paths with solitary figures: a falconer, a mother–daughter pair of sex workers, a bureaucrat lost in endless revisions, a woman obsessed. The taxi becomes a confessional and a stage, where passengers imagine themselves as characters in a nocturnal film. Outside, someone pushes his overloaded bike toward the suburbs, recording his philosophical ramblings, while the lives of others ripple through the city’s hidden corners. At night, the city belongs only to some, a mirror of its restless inhabitants.
