The Dive
by Louise Hansenne
Synopsis
I’m filming my father in the midst of his rout. His wife leaves him and, from one day to the next, he finds himself homeless, penniless, jobless and bereft of his children.
He’s both my hero and my torment. At first I’m angry at him for his irresponsibility, then I calm down as I watch him struggle like mad to regain a family life, a job and some dignity. The death of his son, the death of my brother, turns everything upside down.
